Donna Gayle Goodwin Cribb, 68, of Blythewood, died Saturday, February 20, 2021. Born December 22, 1952, in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Richard Valentino Goodwin and Margaret Hunt Goodwin Daniels.

Mrs. Cribb was raised in Columbia and graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1971. She and her husband, Richard W. Cribb, Sr. enjoyed 50 years of marriage together. Mrs. Cribb was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a long-standing member of Sandy Level Baptist Church. Mrs. Cribb took great pleasure in helping people within her community. She will be remembered for her caring and generous demeanor. During her spare time, she enjoyed researching family genealogy, sewing, and cross stitching. Mrs. Cribb also loved traveling, especially cruises.

Survivors include her husband, Richard W. Cribb, Sr.; sons, Richard W. Cribb, Jr. of Elgin, Donald Scott Cribb (Angela) of Rock Hill, and George Martin "Marty" Cribb of Irmo; grandchildren, Sara Abigail Cribb and Draven Scott Cribb; as well as her brothers, Richard V. Goodwin, Jerry Lee Goodwin, and Robert "Bobby" Goodwin (Linda). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Fred Daniels and her sister-in-law, Rachael Goodwin.

A funeral service for Mrs. Cribb will be held 10:30 o'clock Friday, February 26th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC. Burial will follow at 12 o'clock at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC.

A visitation will be held from 5 until 7 o'clock Thursday, February 25th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel.

All are invited to attend; however, masks and social distancing are required to create a safe environment for all.
