Obituary
Donna Kaye Moody, 69, of Chapin, died Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Born August 28, 1952, in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Howard W. Moody, Jr. and Dorothy Rivers Moody. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Lewis Moody and her sister, Marie Moody Connelly.
Ms. Moody was the matriarch of her family and took great pride in being a wonderful mother. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining friends, and spoiling her grandchildren. Ms. Moody's hobbies included reading, watching television, and cheering on the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.
Survivors include her children, Heather (William) Tarallo-Bailey of Chapin and Joshua Cody (Brittany) Tarallo of Chapin; grandchildren Joseph Tarallo, Taylor (Corbin) Oliva, twins Jensen and Noah Tarallo, Evan Bailey, Bradley Bailey, Jaxon Tarallo, and Willa Tarallo; sister, Dianne (LeGrand) Jones of Tampa, FL; as well as her brother, Tommy Moody of Murrells Inlet, SC.
The memorial service for Ms. Moody will be private. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
