Donna Johnson Patton, 49, of Columbia, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Born in Columbia on June 4, 1964, she was a daughter of Randolph and Jeretha Grooms Johnson. Donna was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene and a long-time employee of the SC Supreme Court.

Survivors include her son, John Houston Patton of Camden; her parents of Columbia; and friend and former husband, Sam Houston Patton. Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Randall Clay Johnson.

The funeral service for Mrs. Patton will be held 2 o'clock, Saturday, April 26th, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Dr, Columbia. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at noon.
