Donna Faye Roach, 64, of Irmo, died Tuesday, March 4, 2014. Born October 17, 1949 in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late John Woodrow Jones and Emma Ree Childers Jones Briggs. She was a member of House of Praise in West Columbia.

Survivors include her daughter, Dawn (Bruce) Branham of Blythewood; a brother, Melvin Briggs, Jr. of Blythewood; sisters, Roberta (Steve) Newton of Blythewood, Sandra (Harold) Porter of Blacksburg, SC, Linda (Tommy) Torri of Lexington, Debra Cooper of Columbia, Paula (Dexter) Roberts of Blacksburg, Karen (Harry) Bailey of Blythewood; grandchildren, Michael Tabor and Sarah Branham; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her step-father, Melvin C. Briggs, Sr.; sisters, Barbara Ann Roach and Lana Miller.

A service for Donna will be held at 2 o'clock, Saturday, March 8th at House of Praise, 3833 Leaphart Rd, West Columbia, with Bishop Dr. Darrell Croft officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 o'clock Friday evening at 1629 Loner Road, Blythewood.
