Doris Carolyn Aughtry Williamson, 82, of Columbia, died Sunday, October 14, 2018. Born in Columbia, SC on March 4, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Truman and Jessie Branham Aughtry. Doris was a member of Earlewood Baptist Church and attended for many years before her health declined. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren. Doris enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches, playing UNO and completing many coloring pages.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby G. Williamson; a daughter, Leslie Adair (Doug); sons, Keith Williamson and Kevin Williamson (Stacey); grandchildren, Nicholas, Adrianna, Caitlin, Brady, Adam, Paula and Bailey; sisters, Janet Rikard (Larry), Beverly Hollis; a sister-in-law, Caroline Aughtry; as well as special friends, Reagan Neal and Claude Motley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Aughtry; and a sister, Kay Aughtry.

The graveside service for Mrs. Williamson will be held 2 o'clock, Wednesday, October 17th, at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, 2603 Two Notch Road, Columbia. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
