Dorothy Virginia Hunsinger Price, 88, of Blythewood, died Friday, June 16, 2017. Born March 1, 1929 in Inman, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Lee Hunsinger and Ruth Ola Greenway Hunsinger. Mrs. Price was a longtime member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church where she was active in church functions. She loved to garden and was always working on a craft projects such as crocheting and quilting.

Survivors include her children, Alexis B. "Lex" Price (Valerie), Kathy P. Roys (Michael), and Ronald G. Price; grandchildren, Michael Price, William Price, Melanie Roys, Steven Roys, Keli Price-Johnson, Amanda Price, and Emili Price Moan; three great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alexis Bunyan Price, Sr.; sons, William and Steven Price; and two siblings.

A funeral service will be held 4 o'clock, Wednesday, June 21st at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 736 Campground Road, Columbia, with The Rev. John Jordan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Immediately following the service the family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to United Methodist Women Legacy Fund,
