Dorothy Napper White, 79, died Friday, April 13, 2018, in Columbia, SC. Born in Norman, NC on June 17, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Nancy Victoria Twitty Napper. She graduated from Camden High School and earned her Degree in Nursing from Columbia Hospital. In 1995, Dorothy retired as a Registered Nurse. She loved shopping and dinners with close friends. Dorothy was a dedicated member of Kathwood Baptist Church and loved her family.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Britt White (Nancy), Blaine White (Wendy) and Leigh Cotton (Paul); sister, Peggy Hammond; grandchildren, Matthew Dorsey (Mandi), Sarah White, Brie White, Emily Lundy (Troy), Lauren Kortie (Ethan), Madison Cotton (Brad) and Noah White; as well as 2 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Henry Britton White Sr., and a sister, Margie Springs.

The funeral service for Mrs. White will be Tuesday, April 17th, at 11 o'clock at Kathwood Baptist Church, 4900 Trenholm Road in Columbia with Rev. Beth McConnell officiating. A visitation will be held immediately following the service. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
