Douglas Edward Dyar, 64, of Blythewood, died on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Born in Anderson, SC, on January 20, 1957, he was a son of the late Ronald Eugene and Barbara Jean Sanders Dyar.
Doug was a pipefitter in the construction industry for over 25 years. When Doug wasn't working, he spent all of his time with his three grandchildren. He enjoyed going to the dirt track, going to the lake, teaching Ashlee how to cook like Momma, tinkering with toys with Chris and loved Gamecock Football. There wasn't a Saturday or Sunday you wouldn't find him on a ball field cheering on his grandchildren. He was their biggest fan and they were his world.
