Born March 20, l968 in (Columbia, S.C.), he was the son of William Henry Tuller Jr. and Virginia DuBose Tuller. DuBose attended Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia and later graduated from Hammond Academy in Columbia, S.C. In April 2012, DuBose was named COMMUNITY SERVANT OF THE YEAR by the Souper Bowl of Caring Foundation. Also, he was an advocate and supporter of HOMEWORKS, a mission that shows God's love through service to others by providing home repairs.

DuBose was a loving and generous husband and father. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Richmond Tuller; his three precious children, William Porcher DuBose Tuller Jr., Elizabeth Austin Tuller, Virginia Grace Tuller; and his sister, Virginia Beverley Allen Tuller.
