Dustin Allen "Dusty" Johnston, 22, of Blythewood, died Monday, October 5, 2015. Born in Columbia on May 31, 1993, he was a son of April Hall Johnston and Anthony "Tony" Johnston. He attended Pine View Baptist Church and was employed with Food Lion.

In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by his step-father Edward Grigsby; sisters, Cassidy Brooke Johnston, and Savannah Katherine Fish; step-brother, Adam Grigsby; step-sister, Brittany Grigsby; paternal grandfather, Larry Hall; maternal grandparents, David and Carolyn Johnston; step-grandparents, Johnny and Jeannette Grigsby; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; his dog and constant companion Buddy.

A funeral service will be held 3:30 o'clock, Sunday, October 11th at Pine View Baptist Church, 111 Pine View Church Road, Blythewood with his cousin, The Rev. James "Jamie" Ballentine officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 o'clock, Saturday afternoon at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia.
