Earline Hodge Boney, 90, of Blythewood died Thursday, September 18, 2014. Born in Alcolu, SC on December 1, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Weston Hodge and Sudie Langford Hodge. She was a member of Sandy Level Baptist Church and the Gleaners Sunday School Class. She was also active in the Blythewood Garden Club and was an honorary member of the Blythewood Historical Society. Mrs. Boney was a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Frank William Boney, Sr.; daughters, Sandra (Douglas) Long of Knoxville, TN, Susan (Greg) Hendrix of Blythewood; a son, Frank William (Donna) Boney, Jr. of Blythewood; grandchildren, Lindsay Hagood, Whitney Brazell, Jamie Long; and great-granddaughter, Emma Brazell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Maxine Long and Margie Kennerty and a brother Thomas W. Hodge, II.

The funeral service for Mrs. Boney will be held at 3 o'clock, Saturday, September 20th at Sandy Level Baptist Church with The Rev. Chris Hanley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock, Friday evening at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia.
