Earnest Wesley Lee, Jr., 84, of Pelion, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Born on August 28, 1933, in Richland County, he was a son of the late Earnest Wesley Lee, Sr. and Ollie Ford Lee. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather that loved working with his tractor, bird watching, going to the farmers market and eating good food. Above all his family came first.

Survivors include his wife, Lila Corder Lee; sons, Michael D. "Mike" Lee (Christy), Richard M. "Ricky" Lee (Dot), and Walter G. "Glen Lee (Angie); one daughter, Diane Keisler (Tony); daughter-in-law, Teresa Lee; grandchildren, Dana Dawkins (David), Christy Fink (Mike), Melanie Sox (Marty), Leigh Jeffcoat (Travis), Wesley Lee (Megan), Glen Lee, Jr. (Lisa), Andy Lee, Aaron Jeffcoat, John Lee (Sherry), Ricky M. Lee (Christie), Meagan Lee (Dominick); great-grandchildren, Dustin, Izzy, Logan, Tanner, Emily, Elizabeth, Paighton, Ashton, London, Dylan, Nathan, Tyler, Layla, John, Jr., Abel, Mikie, and Abby; one great-great granddaughter, Lillie; and a sister, Lois Boyd. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, Wesley R. "Randy" Lee, Stanley D. "Sput" Lee, and siblings, Arthur Lee, Ruth Martin, Sara Martin, Margaret Grimsley, and Nezzie Boyd.

The funeral service for Mr. Lee will be held 2 o'clock, Friday, February 23rd, at King Grove Baptist Church, 1580 Hwy 178, Swansea. Burial will follow the service in the Lee family cemetery, 235 Otis Road, Pelion. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock, Thursday evening at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia.
