Eddie Mae (Honey) Slater Walls was born on March 22, 1926 to the late Albert Slater and Pinckney Snead-Slater in Lula, Mississippi. She was married to John Henry Walls, who preceded her in death. She confessed her love for Christ at an early age. After a long fight with her illness, she was called home on January 30, 2017. She is preceded in death by her daughters, Louise Slater Whitehead, Easter Walls-Johnson; sons, LT Slater, John D. Walls; one grandchild, Kathy Johnson; six sisters and six brothers. She leaves us to cherish her memories daughters, Mary (Dwight) Mims and Glenda Walls; one brother, Robert Slater; daughter-in-law, Pearl Walls; and son-in-law, Leroy Johnson; nine grandchildren, 29 great grands, 9 great great grands, 1 great great great grand and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed by everyone who love her.
