Obituary

Edna I. Sinclair, 76, of Columbia, died Saturday, February 2, 2013. Born October 14, 1936, in Morganton, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Kelley and Blanche Swink Smith. Edna was retired from Allied Chemical.

Survivors include her husband, Wylie H. Sinclair; daughters, Regina (Rusty) Crowley of Lexington, Jean (Lawrence Lee II) Maner of Irmo; son, Dewayne Sinclair of Columbia; grandchildren, Brittany, Courtnie, Lawrence Lee III, Brooklyn, DJ, Christopher, Jay, and Tasha; ten great grandchildren; and sisters, Betty (Roger) Clark of Black Mountain, NC, Kitten Epley and Mozelle Smith, both of Morganton, NC. In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by a son, James Yancey; sisters, Evelyn and Rose Smith; and a grandchild, Bobby Yancey.

The funeral service for Mrs. Sinclair will be held at 12:30, Thursday, February 7th, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia. Burial will follow at Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock, Wednesday evening, at the funeral home.
