Edwin Staton Lomas, 70, of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Born on November 19, 1951, in Columbia, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Lee Blake and Mildred Stevenson Lomas.

Survivors include his loving wife, Debra Hall Lomas; son, Staton James Lomas (Ashley); grandchildren, Abigail Rose Lomas and William Staton Lomas; siblings, Christie Blake Lomas (Carolyn), Alida Plunkett, Wade Lee Lomas (Carla); sisters-in-law, Marilyn Lomas and Cheryl Hall Addy (Craig); beloved dog, Jack; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Steve Lomas.

The family would like to recognize and express their deepest gratitude towards caregivers, Ruby Anderson, Robbie Moses, and Mrs. Harriet.

The memorial service for Mr. Lomas will be held at 2 o'clock on Thursday, June 30th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1 o'clock.
