Eileen Flynn Branham, 76, of Columbia, was called home Sunday, May 29, 2016. Born May 24, 1940, to the late John Michael and Lillian Anne Hoffman Flynn, her maternal grandparents were David Henderson and Mary Essie Capps Hoffman, with John Sylvester and Mary Caroline Burkett Flynn of County Westmeath, Ireland as her paternal grandparents. Mrs. Branham attended Kings Business College and worked for Colonial Life before becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed volunteering with the RSVP (Retired Seniors Volunteer Program) and was a faithful member of Park Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by her wonderful only son, Sean Branham and daughter-in-love, Jennifer of Columbia; two precious grandsons, Parker and Adrian; nephews, Joseph Raymond Davis and his wife, Jennifer of Walterboro, SC, and Gregory Flynn Davis of Charleston, SC; niece, Karen Kay Davis of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and two great nephews and a great niece. In addition to her parents and grandparents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Patricia Flynn Miller and Margaret Anne Flynn Davis.

A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Wednesday, June 1st, at Park Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Lawrence Dennis officiating. The family will receive friends, Tuesday evening from 5 until 7 o'clock, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia.
