Elizabeth Kay "Libby" Mack, 60, of Cayce, died Friday, July 21, 2017. Born on January 9, 1957 in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Frances Johnson Crim and Donald Mack. Libby had a heart of gold and always thought of others before she thought of herself. Consistently late to family functions and other events, she was always there for those she loved. She spent over 30 years working for the University of South Carolina as an Administrative Assistant before retirement.
Survivors include her husband, John Wesley Wise; brother, Gerald Glenn Johnson (Rose Anne); aunts, Hazel Northcutt and Carolyn Strickland; as well as cousins and many feline friends. In addition to her parents, Libby was preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Mack; and step-father, Marvin T. Crim.
The funeral service for Libby will be at 10 o'clock, Wednesday, July 26th at Belmont Baptist Church, with the Rev. Brenda Kneece and Chaplain John Lopez officiating. Burial will follow the service at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext, Columbia.
