Mrs. Elizabeth J. Summers' Obituary
Elizabeth J. (Betty) Summers, the daughter of Samuel and Frieda Darratt, was born January 24, 1917 in Auburn, New York. Betty passed away peacefully on April 10, 2013 in Columbia, South Carolina at the age of 96.
She is survived by her son, James, (Sherry) Summers, Jr. of Libertyville, IL; grandchildren, James (Liz) Summers, III, Chris (Molly) Summers, and Alysha (Richard) Humeniak; and great-grandchildren, James Summers, IV and Anya Humeniak. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, in 2010.
The family would like to thank the skilled nursing staff of the Rice Estate and Lutheran Hospice for all their kindness and care of Betty.
