Elizabeth Jane Wise Brazell Lindley, 81, of Columbia, died Friday, September 20, 2013. Born June 23, 1932 in Elgin, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Daisy Marie Starling Wise. Elizabeth was a person of great faith and had a tremendous impact upon the lives of those she knew and loved.

Survivors include her step-daughter, Carol Pearson and husband, Pete; and nieces, Marie Frankenfield, and Johelen Lee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Archie V. Brazell, and Ulas G. Lindley; a niece, Gloria L. White; and her brother, Joel H. Wise.

A funeral service for Mrs. Lindley will be held 1 o'clock, Monday, September 23, 2013, at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Dr, Columbia. Entombment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will greet friends Sunday from 2 until 4 o'clock at the funeral home.
