Obituary
Eugenia Elizabeth Rogers, 85, of Columbia, died Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Born on January 24, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Murphy E. Newman and Carie Driggers Newman.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Melvin Paul Rogers, Sr.; her son, M. Paul Rogers, Jr. (Claudia); her daughter, Debra Vazquez (Julio); four grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sister, Alice Hollis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Newman.
Services for Mrs. Rogers will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society designated for Breast Cancer Research, 200 Center Point Circle, Suite 100, Columbia, SC 29210-1790.
