Eunice Virginia McAlister Boone, 85, of Columbia, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Born in Olanta, SC on August 27, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Tommy and Vernie McLaughlin Chandler.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Clemmer, Dian (Charles) Stewart and Brenda (David) Brown, all of Hopkins; grandchildren, Steve (Nancy) Williams, Shawna Williams, Amanda Johnson and Clinton Johnson; great grandchildren, Joseph Thomas, Heather and Hannah Williams, Wayne Johnson; and great great grandson, Landon Thomas. In addition to her parents, Eunice was preceded in death by her first husband, LeLand McAlister; and second husband, Carl Boone.

A graveside service for Mrs. Boone will be held 4 o'clock, Friday, March 29th, at Lake City Memorial Park, 522 W Main St, Lake City, SC. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 to 1 o'clock, at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Dr, Columbia.
