Eunice S. Stribling, 90, of Columbia, died Friday, August 31, 2012 at Palmetto Health Baptist. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 o'clock, Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Westminster Presbyterian Church with The Rev. George T. Head and Stephen Minister, Carolyn Lowe officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Church Yard. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:30 o'clock in the narthex of the church.

Eunice was born on July 25, 1922 to the late Rev. John D. Scoggin and Mary W. Scoggin. In addition to her parents, Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Charles V. Stribling; daughter, Emily Daniels; her sisters, Mable Steadman, Ruby Ledford, Esther Hammett, Dot Kelly; brother, Mickey Scoggin.

Surviving are one sister, Emily Kline of Highland, CA; her grandchildren, Ashley Daniels and Charlie Meador, both of Columbia; brother and sister-in-law, Cherry and Catherine Stribling of Columbia; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Eunice was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian. She loved her family and enjoyed her bridge club. She was also an avid fan of the Clemson Tigers.

The family would like to give special thanks to Deloris Hydrick, Becky Whitehead and Cathy Harris, who lovingly cared for Eunice at home and at the hospital.
