Evon Connor Shuler, 96, of Columbia, died on Monday, May 3, 2021. Born March 23, 1925, in Winnsboro, SC, she was a daughter of the late Mack C. Connor and Lena Poston Connor.

Survivors include her son, William Bruce (Susan) Shuler; granddaughters, Elisa (Terry) Spalti, and Katrina Shuler; great grandchildren, Makenna, Wayde, and Gideon Spalti; along with nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms. Evon was preceded in death by her husband, William Houck Shuler; brothers, Auburn, Shelby, Fernell Connor; sisters, Ruth Paschal, and Pat Gibson.

A private graveside service for Mrs. Shuler will be held at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
