Sandra "Faye" Watts Sessions, 65, of Elgin, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018. Born on February 17, 1953 in Elgin, SC, she was a daughter of Vince Franklin "Sam" and Edna L Watts. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Otis Bruce Sessions, for nearly 50 years. To this union, three daughters were born.

Mrs. Sessions has been the Head Baker at Candyland Bakery since 2007. She was a member of Spears Creek Baptist Church, the Worthy Matron of Lugoff-Elgin Eastern Star #298, Jamil Temple Cabooses, and the Daughters of the Nile.

In addition to her husband, Otis, those left to cherish her memories are: a sister, Maybelle Nelson; daughters, Wendy Goff (Gerald), Cindy Yasmine (Jeff), and April Sessions; step-children, Randy Sessions (Pam), Robert Sessions, and Karla Smith; grandchildren, that will carry on her legacy, Jeremy, Katie, Nikki, Megan, Justin, Rebecca, Cristin, and Noah; as well as nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 5th from 2 until 4 o'clock, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Chapel. The funeral service for Mrs. Sessions will be held 1 o'clock, Monday, August 6th, at Spears Creek Baptist Church, 116 Spears Creek Church Road, Elgin, with Pastor Greg Sweet officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
