Frances Runette Cockrell Frazee, 95, of Leesville, SC, died Monday, December 20, 2021. Born February 27, 1926, in Greenwood County, SC, she was a daughter of the late O.A. Cockrell and Mattie Parkman Cockrell. A devout Christian, Ms. Frazee was a member of Columbia Grace Church of the Nazarene for more than 70 years, where she taught the Kindergarten Sunday school class for over 60 years. She considered each child taught as one of her own. Ms. Frazee enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and socializing with her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Harriet "Cookie" L. Frazee of Columbia; grandchildren, Franklin Glynn Skinner of Columbia and Kellie F. Jones of Crosshill, SC; great grandchildren, Jameslee Skinner of Columbia, Robyn E. Jones of Columbia, Darren T. Loveday (Cierra) of Anderson, SC, and Donnie W. Edwards of Batesburg, SC; four great great grandchildren, as well as sisters, Sybil Cockrell of Saluda, SC and Joyce C. Dennis of Laurens, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank "Bo" McGill Frazee; daughter, Frances F. Monts; granddaughters, Kliffie L. Jones and Kara J. Arant; as well as five siblings, Willie Cockrell, Robert Cockrell, Hubert Cockrell, Heyward Cockrell, and Dorothy Stevenson.

The funeral service for Ms. Frazee will be held at 12 o'clock noon, Monday, December 27th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service at 11 o'clock at the funeral home. Burial will be held at 2:30 o'clock at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 1738 Greenwood Hwy, Saluda, SC 29138.
