Frances A. Hallman, 72, of Columbia, died on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Born July 21, 1949, in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Grady Allison and Lula Turner Allison.

A member of Denny Terrace Baptist Church, Ms. Frances loved her family, especially her grandchildren and their friends.

Survivors include her children, Michelle Baughman (Brad), Michael Hallman (Esther); grandchildren, Dylan, Brody, Nevaeh, and Bodhi; siblings, James Allison, and Shirley Mancil; and her beloved pup, Bella. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Michael Hallman; and brother, William "Baby Bill" Allison.

The funeral service for Mrs. Hallman will be held 2 o'clock, Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, from 6 until 8 o'clock, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel. All are welcome to attend, however, masks and social distancing practices are encouraged.
