Frances Langley Lee, 79, of Lexington, died Sunday, December 6, 2020 after a long illness.

Frances retired from Lexington County Government where she served in numerous roles for 29 years. She was a past President of The Business & Professional Women of South Carolina and also enjoyed volunteering at the State Museum.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Langley, of Columbia and Louise Stokes Langley, of Cayce.

She is survived by her husband, William Holmes Lee; and a son, Walker Kelly Lee, of Lexington; sisters, Phyllis Smith, of Charleston, and Faye Hollingsworth, of West Columbia; nieces, Robin and Wendy Hollingsworth, both of West Columbia, Lauren Jones and Kayti Smith, both of Charleston; and great niece and nephew, Kendal and Conner Jones, both of Charleston.

The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 2 o'clock, at Southland Memorial Gardens in West Columbia. Visitation will follow the service. Please practice social distancing and wear a mask. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
