Columbia - Francis Kalani "Franklin" Enos, 68, of Columbia died Thursday July 13, 2017, after a prolonged illness with his wife and family by his side. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on July 18, 1948 to the late Kalani Manuel Enos and Idel Roberson. Frank was a graduate of the University of Alabama, holding a Bachelor's Degree and a certificate in Teaching. He spent 37 years in the Automotive Industry, covering everything from sales, to owning his own Vintage Boutique showroom, and opening and operating a shuttle service. He took pride in everything he did. Frank enjoyed drawing, calligraphy, reading, writing, and watching movies, as well as spending as much time as possible visiting Walt Disney World with his wife and their family. He married Jennifer Brotman Enos on December 26, 1992. One of his greatest honors was serving his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer; son, Kalani "Kal" Enos (Birte); former wife, Sophia Rose Winstanley Lee; grandchildren, Holly Kiernan Welch (Joshua), and Megan Kiernan; siblings, Manuel Enos, Anne Enos, twins, Kikilani and Mahelani Enos, and Dana Michelle Sutherlen; sisters-in-law, Lisa Ann Brotman and Michelle Susan Brotman; nieces, Hannah Rose, and Sarah Ellen Brotman; a nephew, Allen Sutherland; three of his closest friends, Bill Turner, Allen Gendler, and James Everly. Frank was preceded in death by a son, Michael Kiernan (2014); brother, Daniel Leaa Enos (2012); and his mother-in-law, Clara Adatto Shor (2011).

A service will be held 5:30 o'clock, Sunday, July 16 at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext. The family will be sitting Shiva and receiving friends at Frank's home.
