Frank O. Fowler, 90, of Columbia, died Tuesday, January 1, 2019. A son of the late John William Fowler, Sr., and Hortense Dease Fowler, he was married to the late Alice Ruth Entzminger Fowler. Frank served in the US Army and retired as a mechanic for Big Star Grocery Stores. He enjoyed antique cars and the Gamecocks. Frank was a wonderful father, who loved his grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Fowler Henson (Tony); and grandchildren, Shanna and Brett Henson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his four brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held 2:30 o'clock, Friday, January 4th, at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 o'clock until 2 o'clock at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the South Carolina Special Olympics, 109 Oak Park Drive, Irmo, SC 29063.
