Frank Kirkland "Kirk" Graham, Jr., 72, of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 17, 2024. Born on March 7, 1952, in Columbia, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Frank Kirkland Graham, Sr. and Jane Noland Graham.

As a young child, Kirk's passion was fishing and he spent endless hours, weeks, and months alongside his grandfather doing what he loved at the family pond. Kirk grew to love history and received an undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in History before joining the State Archives, where he worked for several years. Ultimately, Kirk followed in his father's and grandfather's footsteps as he began to write life insurance and eventually became president of Continental Life of South Carolina.

Kirk enjoyed good friends, good food and good times and to many, he seemed larger than life. He marched to his own drummer, never met a stranger, and will be remembered for his quick wit, intelligence, and sense of humor.

More than anything, however, Kirk loved his children, Amanda and Bo. He was a devoted father and loved God with all his heart.

He is survived by, his daughter, Amanda Leigh Prebehalla of Ohio; the mother of their children, Marjorie Kaselonis of Ohio; a sister, Amanda Jane Graham (David Nisbet) of North Carolina; a grandson, Aiden lee Jeffries; and numerous cousins throughout the Carolinas and Georgia.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by, his son, Frank Kirkland "Bo" Graham, III.

A graveside service for Mr. Graham will be held at 2 o'clock, Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 7100 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia.
