Frankie Earl Evans, 70, of Chapin, died Thursday, July 26, 2012. Born on February, 19, 1942, he was a son of Louise Webster Evans and the late Hovie L. Evans.
Mr. Evans, a retired sheet metal worker, was a former member of the Capital City Bass Club.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Evans; mother, Louise Evans; granddaughter, Kelon Brown; nephew-in-law, David Katz; and special friends, Susan Simmons and Russell Chambers. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Frankie Evans, Jr.; daughter, Michele Brown; and brother, Al Lorenze Evans.
A memorial service for Frankie will be held 12 o'clock, Thursday, August 2nd, at Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 5400 Bush River Rd., Columbia, with The Rev. Mark Wendland officiating. Inurnment will follow in the cemetery. Family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11:30 o'clock. Shives Funeral Home is assisting the family.
