Obituary
Newberry – Fred O. Smith, 86, of Newberry, died Saturday, March 7, 2015. Born March 13, 1928 In Honea Path, SC, he was a son of the late Andrew and Addie Mae Saxon Smith.
Survivors include his sisters, Mary Moose and Marian Risinger of Lexington; niece, Brenda Hatfield Barber; nephews Tommy and Ray Risinger. In addition to his parents Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Joe Smith and Thomas Ray Smith.
A graveside service will be held at 12 o'clock, Wednesday, March 11th at The Garden of Memories, 151 Garden of Memories Road, Honea Path, SC. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at the McCullough Community Residence of Newberry.
