Gary Michael Eastlake, 59, of Monetta, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Born January 20, 1953 in Eatonton, GA, he was a son of the late John Eastlake, Sr. and Irene Rogers Eastlake. Gary was a lifelong police officer and served as an investigator with the Aiken County Sheriff's Department from 1997 until 2001.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Cindy Kelly Eastlake; a daughter, Brandi Roach of Ladson, SC; step-daughter, Erica McCord of Columbia; sisters, Cheryl Eastlake of Columbia, Joy (Scott) Turner of Columbia; grandchildren, Michaela Roach and Marissa Roach.

A graveside service for Mr. Eastlake will be held at 3 o'clock, Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Memorial Gardens of Columbia, 9301 Wilson Blvd., Columbia with The Rev. Mark Wendland officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside.
