Mr. John Gary Davis Strickland, 81, of Ridgeway, South Carolina, died on Friday, August 8, 2025. Born on April 20, 1944, he was the son of the late Clyde Brady Davis and Nellie Heath Strickland.

He was predeceased by his parents listed above; his wife, Doris Strickland; his grandparents, John and Lara Cook Heath; sister, Ruth Walker Hutto; brothers, Randy Strickland and Wayne Strickland; and step-father, Roy Strickland.

He is survived by his son, Matthew Strickland; his daughter, Victoria (Tony) Pantsari; and granddaughter, Elizabeth.

The graveside service will be held at 3 o'clock on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Cook Family Cemetery, 6743 B Satchel Ford Road Columbia, South Carolina 29206.

Memorials to honor Mr. Gary's life may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive Tampa, FL 33607.
