George August Braun, Jr., 81, of Columbia, died Saturday, September 4, 2021. Born January 2, 1940, in Asheville, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Lillian Giest Braun and George August Braun, Sr. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a sales representative for several prominent interior furnishing manufacturers. Mr. Braun enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia and was a Carolina Panthers football fan.

Survivors include his wife, Esta Leitner Braun; stepchildren, Judge Joseph D. Teague, Sr. (Kay), William "Bill" Edward Teague (Kristen), and Michael Oneal Teague (Jean). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two sisters, Andrea Braun and Millie Braun.

The funeral service for Mr. Braun will be held at 11 o'clock, Friday, September 10th at Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, 7600 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC. Entombment will immediately follow in the mausoleum.
