Gerald Livingston, 56, of Elgin passed on July 10, 2024. Born in Columbia, SC on December 16, 1967, he was the son of the late Willa Dean Livingston and Samuel Livingston. He had a decorated career as a successful truck driver for over two decades.

Gerald appreciated spending time with his two daughters, dogs, and chickens. He loved the outdoors and was an avid animal lover. He enjoyed fishing at Lake Wateree, caring for his hobby farm, and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Chu Livingston, and his two daughters, Laura Livingston (Shim) and Olivia Livingston. He is also survived by his twin brother, Earl Livingston, and his four sisters; Penny Shepherd, Rhonda Waldrep, Karen Hollis, and Deanette Thompson.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 2 pm until 4 pm at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel.
