Glenda Elliott Spadetti, 67, widow of Peter Lynn Spadetti, died at home on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Born in Pensacola, FL, on November 25, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Glen William and Dorothy Jeanette Price Elliott.

Mrs. Spadetti was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church and a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She worked for Bellsouth Telephone Company, and later for Sonic Automotive Group. She enjoyed serving with Salkehatchie, going shopping, taking beach trips and supporting Boy Scouts at her church. Mrs. Spadetti was an avid Clemson Tiger fan and adored her four-legged companion, Walker.

Survivors include her only son, Peter Lynn Spadetti, Jr. and his wife Jennifer Annette Spadetti; grandchildren, Peter Lynn "Trey" Spadetti, III and Mason Maxwell Spadetti; brother, David Price (Laura); sisters, Sherrie Elliott Reum (Jerry), Janice Elliott Wooten (Leroy Wright), and Tina Elliott Walton (Steve); longtime caregiver and bestfriend, Jerry Wright; and many other devoted family members and friends.

The service for Mrs. Spadetti will be held at 11 o'clock, Saturday, November 6th, at Rehoboth United Methodist Church, 6911 Two Notch Rd, Columbia, SC 29223. For those who cannot attend in person, the service will be streamed at the current webcast tab on ShivesFuneralHome.com. Burial in Fort Jackson National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
