Glenn Carson Jeter, 59, of Brunswick, GA, died November 22, 2016. Born in Columbia on September 16, 1957, he was a son of Lizzie M. Jeter and the late John C. Jeter. Glenn grew up in Columbia and graduated from USC. He was an outgoing person who was always willing to lend a helping hand.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his longtime companion, Pam Thompson, and her son, Levi; sisters, Jean (Michael) Norris, Bonnie McManus (Chuck); several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Oliver.

A service will be held 2 o'clock, Monday, November 28th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext. Columbia. Burial will follow in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 o'clock.
