Mr. Graham John Shirley, 79, of Columbia, SC, died on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Born on June 4, 1945, in Reading, England, he was a son of the late John Shirley, and the late Mary Elizabeth Slade Shirley.

Graham was a lifelong member of Eau Claire Presbyterian Church. He served in many roles including Deacon, Session, Sunday School teacher as well as many other missions through the years. Graham had a great love for worship and his relationship with his Lord & Savior. A very generous soft-spoken man who delighted in helping others. He especially loved his nephew and his three children.

He is survived by his brothers, David Shirley (Wendy), and Barry Shirley (Judi); nephew, Robert Shirley (Carrie); and great nieces and nephew, Taylor, Savannah & Grayson.

He was preceded in death by a nephew, Timothy Shirley; and maternal grandmother, Edith Slade.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 4 o'clock at Eau Claire Presbyterian Church, 629 Wildwood Ave, Columbia, SC, 29203. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 3 until 4 o'clock at Eau Claire Presbyterian Church. Burial will be on Wednesday, April 16,2025, at 11 o'clock at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 7100 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC, 29209. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
