H. Ernestene Price, 82, of Columbia, died Thursday, November 12, 2015. Born February 3, 1933 in Blythewood, SC she was a daughter of the late James Ernest and Jeanette Elizabeth Price. She was a member of Eau Claire Baptist Church and a former longtime member of Belmont Baptist Church where she served as church secretary. Mrs. Price worked for many years at the main office of Wachovia Bank in Columbia.

Survivors include her husband, Boyd William Price; one son, Stephen M. (Judy) Price of Concord, NC; grandson, Ross (Paige) Johnson of Concord, NC; great-granddaughter, Emily Johnson; sister, Alice Bagley of Ladson; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 2 o'clock, Sunday, November 15th at Memorial Gardens of Columbia, 9301 Wilson Boulevard, Columbia, with The Rev. James A. Goudelock officiating. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 1:30 o'clock at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Eau Claire Baptist, Church, 4427 North Main Street, Columbia, SC 29203, to the American Heart Assoc., 190 Knox Abbott Drive, Suite 301, Cayce, SC 29033 or to the Alzheimer's Assoc, SC Chapter, PO Box 280, Charleston, SC 29402. Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, is assisting the family.
