Hal Dillard Stribling
Hal Dillard Stribling, 89, died on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Bevid Place in Spartanburg, SC.
He is survived by his son, David Sloan Stribling of New Jersey and a daughter, Alice Mikell Stribling of California. His wife, Mikell von Kolnitz Stribling, preceded him in death.
Hal worked for Lockheed Martin for 30 years, studying stress loads on Hercules C-130’s. He was an avid tinkerer, as he loved working on automobiles, building furniture, and making repairs around the house. He even held a patent for one of his inventions! He grew up within walking distance, attended, and remained a fan of Clemson University Tigers his entire life.
Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
