Harold Stephen "Steve" Tillman, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018. Born in Summit, NJ on October 9, 1932, he was the son of the late Harold Willis and Waltera Tharrett Tillman. He graduated from Summit High School in 1952 and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War in the Mediterranean Theater. He later graduated from Clarkson College of Technology in 1959 and had a varied career in sales, purchasing, and manufacturing; retiring in 2001 from Spirax Sarco of Blythewood, SC. Prior to their move south, the Tillman's lived in Allentown, PA for 32 years where they were active in the community.

Steve is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joyce Manno Tillman; daughter, Stephanie of Columbia, SC; and son, Mark of St. Petersburg, FL.

The family would like to thank the doctors and caregivers for their kind care of Steve during his health issues of the last two years.

A memorial service will be held 2 o'clock, Tuesday, September 11th at St. David's Episcopal Church with The Reverend William M. "Scotty" Brock officiating. A reception will follow in the Church Hall. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
