Helen Patricia Hall Monteith, 81, of Columbia, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Born on February 24, 1937, in Rochester, NY, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Thorp Hall and Helen Marie Flynn Hall.

Survivors include her children, Margaret Mary Monteith Deweese (Charles) of Broken Arrow, OK, William Ross Monteith, Jr. (Christine Dabi) of Broken Arrow, OK, John Douglas Monteith of Columbia, Andrew David Monteith of Columbia, and Jan Elizabeth Monteith Beacham (David) of Columbia; grandchildren, Bridget Deweese, Katherine Deweese, Benjamin Deweese, Patrick Monteith, Liam Monteith, Rose Beacham, and Grace Beacham; great grandchildren, Gabriel Nowak, Madalyn Nowak, and Abigail McElroy; sister, Janet Smith of Rochester, NY; as well as many other extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Ross Monteith, Sr. and her brother, Thomas Francis Hall.

The funeral service for Mrs. Monteith will be held at 10 o'clock, Saturday November 17th at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, All Souls Chapel, 2461 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14612. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
