Obituary
Herbert Michael Hedgepath,75, of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, in Columbia, SC. He was born in Columbia on March 1, 1950, and was the son of the late Herbert Wilson Hedgepath and Norma Frances Walker Hedgepath.
Mike graduated from Eau Claire High School and the University of South Carolina. He spent over 40 years as a jeweler and was known for the passion and skill that he showed as he went about his craft.
Mike loved spending time with family and friends, especially his daughter Hannah. He had a deep appreciation for antiques and loved fishing and hunting, whenever the opportunity arose.
Survivors include his daughter, Hannah Price (Brent) and sister Patricia (Pat) Hedgepath Crooks.
Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
No service will be held per Mike's wish. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
