Howard Mack Fipps, 63, of Blythewood, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Born in Loris, SC, he was a son of the late Mack Coy and Rachel Louella Fowler Fipps.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta Branham Fipps of Blythewood; daughters, Stephanie (Stuart) Smith and Crystal (Shawn) Crews, all of Elgin; as well as grandsons, Anthony Smith and Jay Crews.

The graveside service for Mr. Fipps will be held 2 o'clock, Saturday, February 7th, at the Memorial Gardens of Columbia Mausoleum, 9301 Wilson Blvd, Columbia, with Joe Lee and Faron Hood officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock, Friday evening, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia.
