Hudnalle B. McLean, Jr., 84, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018. Born in Richland County, SC, he was the son of the late Hudnalle B. McLean, Sr. and Helen Allen McLean. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired commercial airline pilot. Mr. McLean was a devoted member of Sandy Level Baptist Church.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Mittie; children, Kristina, Kathryn Menchinger (Mike), Kenneth (Janae); grandchildren, Kristen Abart (Jerit), Tess Mize (Wesley), David, Kelly, Helen, Alex, Little Hud, Ian; great grandchildren, Emma, Elena, Ethan, Evelyn, Lillian Blythe; brothers, Tom McLean (Meg), Jim McLean (Frankie); aunt, Evelyn Moore; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral service for Mr. McLean will be held 11 o'clock, Monday, July 30th, at Sandy Level Baptist Church, with the Rev. Chris Hanley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday July 29th from 4 pm until 6 pm, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia.

He was predeceased by his beloved sister, Elizabeth McLean Ballow; and his second mom, Gladys Harris "Meme" McLean.
