Mr. Hugh L. "Skip" Turner, Jr., 71, of Columbia, entered into rest on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Born on November 1st, 1954, in Eastover, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Hugh L. Turner and Betty Armour Turner.

Hugh is survived by his wife, Jo Anne Taylor Turner of the home; sons, Philip Turner (Stella) of Columbia, SC and Michael Turner of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Grant Turner and Collynn Turner of Columbia, SC; sister, Sherry Tadlock of Eastover, SC; niece, Allison Jackson of Eastover, SC; and great-nephew, Cameron Jackson of Eastover, SC.

The visitation will be held from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock on Tuesday, January 13th, at Shives Funeral Home, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext. Columbia, SC 29223.
