Idora Kathleen "Kitty" Brown, 99, of Columbia, died on Monday, July 21, 2025. Born on December 3, 1925, in Winnsboro, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Muller Ashbury Lewis and Beulah F. Lucas Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas E. Brown, Sr. and her son, Douglas E. Brown, Jr.

A graveside service for Mrs. Brown will be held at 10 o'clock, Thursday, July 24th, at Fair Lawn United Methodist Church Cemetery, 9203 Wilson Blvd., Columbia, SC, with Rev. J.T. Brown officiating.
