Mrs. Il Ye Yoo, 90, of Blythewood, died on Sunday, March 1, 2026. Born in Seoul, Korea on May 15, 1935, to the late Yang Soo Kim and Mang Soon Shin, Mrs. Yoo was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and follower of Christ.

Mrs. Yoo is survived by her husband, Bong Yoo; son, Kwang Chul Yoo (Soon Ja Yoo); daughter, Ok Hwa Yoo (Ki Joo Nam); daughter-in-law, Seoung Hee Yoo; grandchildren, Boo Hyun Nam, Na Hyun Nam, Henry Yoo, Jessica Yoo, Youngah Yoo, and Sarah Yoo. Along with her parents, Mrs. Yoo was preceded in death by her son, Kwang Sun Yoo.

The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Shives Funeral Home, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext. Columbia, SC. Burial will follow the service in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, 2603 Two Notch Road Columbia, SC.
