Tallahassee, FL - Inez Maddox passed away in Tallahassee, FL on July 14, 2012. Inez was a longtime resident of Columbia, SC and a member of Jackson Creek Baptist Church. She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, and aunt. If there was a need, she was always there for her family.

Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Maddox; daughter, Linda Maddox; parents, Henry Jay and Sarah Jane Anderson; brothers Ralph Anderson, Cleve Anderson; and a sister, Nell Sprouse. She is survived by her brothers, Clyde Anderson (Mary), Henry Anderson (Betty); and a sister-in-law Carmonlene Anderson; nieces and nephews, Rex Anderson (Mary Ellen), Stacy Rouslin, Tracy Berg (Joe), Scott Anderson, Paula Borsman (Adam); and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.


The funeral service for Mrs. Maddox will be held 11 o'clock Saturday, July 21st at Jackson Creek Baptist Church, 7778 Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC 29223, with The Rev. Dr. Walter Mack Burriss officiating. Burial will follow at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends at the church beginning at 10 o'clock.
